In this post, we want to explain to you what are the strong points that determine the quality of a garment as intimate as Underwear. The type of confection is determining, both for the comfort and for the duration of the garment.
Making good UNDERWEAR is not that easy. A lot of pieces must be joined, each one with its perfect shape and with a construction that will determine its duration and the comfort.

SLIPS AND BOXERS
The shape of each of the pieces that make up a Punto Blanco underwear, has been studied and designed to offer maximum comfort.
All the making of Punto Blanco underwear it is made with a very small stitch density, of no less than 6 stitches per cm. of fabric. In this way, the seams of these garments are almost unbreakable.
The expert hands of the people who are in charge of making the garments, are the ones who turn the small parts of each garment into a source of comfort for every day.

FLAT SEAMS
A thick seam is very annoying. For this reason, all Punto Blanco underwear are made with the system of flat seams that do not disturb and do not mark if thin pants are worn.
The flat seams on the legs of the slips, provide extra comfort.

COTTON INNER LINING

If we have a brief manufactured with the utmost care in every detail, we cannot neglect the main finish which is the elastic waist.
THE STRONG POINTS OF PUNTO BLANCO WAISTBANDS
- They are made with Microfiber of multifilament. The threads are composed of microfilaments so fine that they allow us to manufacture supersoft rubbers.
- Working with multifilament also allows us to achieve very varied and high definition designs. When we create a new underwear design, we give the same importance to the design of the garment itself as to the waistband, because the harmony of the whole is what will make it a desirable garment.
- The balance between the two primary parameters of elastic, hardness and elasticity, gives us as a result a waist that doesn't press, but that neither falls, neither when we buy the piece nor after many uses and washes. Forget those used pieces with the deformed waistband ...
- The use of elastomer instead of rubber also ensures a longer life and higher comfort.
COM MANTENIR LES PROPIETATS DE LES GOMES
It should be noted that in order for elastic waistbands to maintain their properties, they must be properly cared for:
- Do not bleach. Bleach degrades the elastomer very quickly and shortens the life of both the rubber and the rest of the garment
- Avoid a strong exposure to the sun. The sun, especially if it is very intense, dries out the elastomer and microfiber and damages the waistbands more quickly than would be desirable
- Do not iron. A touch of iron in a single point, can cause the retraction of the filaments so that the rubber will take the form of waves and lose its main function
In short, if we choose a good garment with good waistband and treat it properly, it will last us in perfect condition for a long time.
