With the lights still on and the guests entering the room, an atmosphere of great anticipation began to breathe. In the background, Michael Jackson's "Earth Song" set the attendees in front of what they were about to see...

By 2020, two-thirds of the planet's wildlife will have disappeared. The flame of life is being extinguished as fast as in the age of the dinosaurs - and it is because humanity is cutting down the tree of life.

If we do not stop this tragedy, the delicate our planet's biodiversity could collapse completely, leaving it mortally wounded and uninhabitable for living things. Thus began a fashion show with a lot of social awareness.

With this collection, which is called Save the Planet, Punto Blanco wanted focus on a concept that we should all take into account: the nature and importance of taking care of the environment.

From Punto Blanco we focus on promoting environmentalism, presenting a col· very special collection, for both men and women, where the messages in the different pieces of clothing are the protagonists.

The designers of Punto Blanco, Bernadette Van de Loo and María José Chamarro, emphasized during the fashion show that with this collection they want to "think about the danger the planet faces by contributing our grain of sand and that's why all the cotton in our pieces is organic and the plastic of recycled packaging bags".

The three most important elements and concepts of the collection are air, sky and earth. Elements that, under the title "Save the planet", were presented on the 080 catwalk with prints of starry skies, polar bears, wild horses, panthers and forests at dawn.

The fabric of the products follows the conceptual line of the collection taking care of the environment. Using elastic organic cotton fabrics, both in t-shirts and leggings.

"We should be very consistent and remind everyone that we are on this planet for rent, so this is our contribution," they added the designers.

During the parade we had the honor of having among our attendees the actresses Clara Segura, Marta Marco, Marta Calvo and Candela Antón and the influencer Emilie @emitaz.

We know the wait will be eternal but the winter "Save the planet" collection will not be available until autumn in all official Punto Blanco stores. But rest assured that from this March you will be able to enjoy the summer collection. Until then, patience and a lot of awareness.

Until then, you can watch the catwalk video.
