What should be taken into account when choosing a good swimming costume?

It's summer and to choose the right swimsuit it is advisable to follow the recommendations of the professionals. Before deciding on the design, we must look at the use we want to give to the swimsuit.

Swimming pool swimwear

If we want it for swimming in the pool, doing sports, we will choose a tight swimsuit, which hugs the body well without pressing. It doesn't matter if it's a slip or a boxer, that depends on each person's preferences, but you do need to take some details into account.

The drawstring at the waist helps to hold the swimsuit well, firmly and comfortably. At the same time, it increases the duration of the swimsuit in good condition, as it prevents the elastics from giving.

The inner lining in the parts that bear more stress also contributes to increasing the comfort of the swimsuit and extending its duration. If the lining is mesh and moisture-repellent fabric, the feeling of comfort will be maximum.

Another important point is the seams and labels. The seams must be strong but smooth and flat, so as not to disturb or leave marks. Labels should be smooth and non-scratching and sewn with fine seams.






Beach and leisure swimwear

To go to the beach or to the swimming pool for leisure, we will choose fabric swimsuits such as shorts or boxer shorts.

In this case we opt for a wider pattern that allows us to sunbathe, play, swim and even go down the street wearing it as if it were trousers.

The first thing to consider is the type of fabric. It is convenient to look for fabrics that repel water and moisture. They are what we call quick drying fabrics. With these light and pleasant fabrics, we will avoid feeling the unpleasant feeling of muslin on the body for a long time.

Inside it is very comfortable that there is a grid suspender. Even if the swimsuit is wide, this suspender will maintain the feeling of control and comfort. We will choose the grid wide, so that it acts as a support, but that it dries quickly and, above all, that it does not swell in the water!!!!!

It is not essential, but it is very practical that it has pockets. The side pockets also need to be mesh so that they don't swell in the water and evacuate it immediately. A pocket at the back is also a good item to carry your wallet or mobile phone when you go for a drink.

We make all the swimsuits with pockets closed with a small velcro and, above all, with the metal eyelets at the bottom that evacuate the water.

As in fitted swimsuits, the drawstring at the waist, flat seams and soft, delicately sewn labels are the essential touch to enjoy the swimsuit 100%.

The Designs

While in the case of swimming pool swimsuits many users prefer plain and discreet colors, in fabric swimsuits, the imagination has no limits.

However, there are a few reasons that are sure winners:

Starfish, penguins, turtles, pelicans, crabs, anchors, sea horses.... On more classic blue backgrounds or on bolder pumpkin, green or salmon backgrounds.

What must be done to keep the swimsuit in the best condition?

Chlorine, sea salt, sweat, sand and sun creams are some of the elements that deteriorate swimwear. That's why it's very important to wash or scrub the swimsuit as soon as you take it off, whether you've bathed or not, to remove the remains of these elements.

We can wash the swimsuits in the washing machine. Better if it is with a delicate program and mild soap and, if the swimsuit is of good quality, it will not be damaged.

When we store them at the end of the season, we have to leave the laces untied so that they don't take bad shape and we can enjoy our swimsuit next year as if it were new.
